What happens next

  2. Sign in with the account connected to your wearable (Google for Fitbit, Garmin Connect for Garmin, or your Oura account for Oura Ring).
  3. Review and approve sharing your activity, sleep, and heart-rate data.
University of Minnesota Wearable Hub collects your activity, sleep, heart-rate, blood-oxygen (SpO2), heart-rate-variability, and wearable-device information (such as battery level and last sync) from your connected Fitbit (via Google), Garmin, or Oura account to support the research study you enrolled in. Your data is used only by the research team for this study and is never sold or used for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Taking part is voluntary, and your data is used only for this research study. You can stop sharing at any time by contacting your study staff or removing the app's access in your Google, Garmin, or Oura account settings.
